Adolescence is a period of discovery during which we build our identity. It is lived differently according to the cultural, geographical, and societal aspects of one's environment.
Between December 2020 and April 2021, I followed teenagers in Paris, Perpignan, and Tbilisi. "Adolescences" is built into three chapters.
Young feminists in Tbilisi focuses on Kato, Tinatini and Sally, teenage feminists in Tbilisi. Kato, Tinatini and Sally are 15, 14 and 17 years old and live or hang out in the northern suburbs of Tbilisi, Georgia. They consider themselves feminists and experience it differently. In this conservative country, these young women are determined to achieve their future plans by going beyond the traditional role of women.
